Single Stock Futures

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) has teamed up with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Inc. (CME) and the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) to create a new exchange for trading single-stock futures.

For information about the new exchange, called "OneChicago, LLC", and single stock futures, please see www.onechicago.com.

Issues traders should be aware of when choosing a futures brokerage, broker, and (or) clearing firm.

FCM must be a Limited Purpose Broker Dealer to support SSF products traded on securities exchanges.

Individual brokers must take proficiency testing and training programs for SSF's.

You will be required to sign separate Risk Disclosure Statements to trade SSF's.

Brokers, FCM's etc., will likely have standards of suitability, sales practice, and client protection similar to NASD guidelines.

If you have any immediate questions regarding the exciting new trading product of Single Stock Futures please contact us at GLTC for more information. We are happy to serve you.
